RESULTS
Experiment One
Amounts of DNA extracted from various plant sources:
All DNA sources produced different amounts of DNA.
Experiment Two
The strained DNA source produced more DNA.
Experiment Three
Different plant parts produce different amounts of DNA. Leaves produced the most; roots produced none.
Experiment Four
The colder the alcohol, the more DNA was produced.
Experiment Five
DNA was produced from wheat germ using the wheat germ protocol only. No DNA extracted using the other protocol.
Experiment Six
The addition of meat tenderizer decreased the amount of DNA. I may have added too much or stirred it too much.
